Diborane
Question

Diborane does not undergo cleavage reaction with

Easy
Solution

{B_2}{H_6} + 2N{\left( {C{H_3}} \right)_3}\xrightarrow{{}}\mathop {2{H_3}B.N{{\left( {C{H_3}} \right)}_3}}\limits_{Adduct}

B2H6+2CO2H3B.COBoryne Carbonyl

Diborane undergoes cleavage reaction CO,NH3,N(CH3)3 to form addition compounds. The addition product formation is due to dative bond formation with CO,NH3,N(CH3)3 .

CO2 do not form dative bond and hence it cannot cleaves the diborane.
