This is a special case;
All octahedral complexes of ${Co}^{+ 3}$ are diamagnetic with $d^{2} {sp}^{3}$ hybridization except ${[{CoF}_{6}]}^{- 3}$ which is the only homoleptic octahedral complex of cobalt (III) with ${sp}^{3} d^{2}$ hybridization with a spin only magnetic moment of 4.9 B.M;
It is the only outer orbital octahedral complex formed by cobalt (III).
