At 25oC  vapour pressure of  a volatile liquid A is 60 torr. To 4 mol of A, x moles of another volatile liquid B is added at 25oC . The vapour pressure of the resulting solution was found to be 72 torr and mole fraction of A in the vapour phase was 1/3. The value of x is

Solving (1) & (2) gives XAXB=23

Thus moles of ‘B’ added =6
