Salt hydrolysis :
Question

A salt of weak acid and weak base undergoes

Easy
Solution

Salt of a weak acid and weak base undergoes both cationic and anionic hydrolysis.

For example CH3COONH4 is a salt of wek acid and weak base.

\large C{H_3}COON{H_4}\xrightarrow{{}}C{H_3}CO{O^ - } + NH_4^ +

Both the radicals are derivative of weak acid and base respectively, so they will both react with water.

\large \\C{H_3}CO{O^ - } + {H_2}O \rightleftharpoons C{H_3}COOH + O{H^ - }\\\\NH_4^ + + {H_2}O \rightleftharpoons N{H_4}OH + {H^ + }
