Statement-I: $2 {SO}_{2} (g) + O_{2} (g) \overset{NO (g)}{\to} 2 {SO}_{3} (g)$ is lead chamber process. Reactants and catalyst are in same phase.
Statement-II: Initially the reaction between ${KMnO}_{4} and H_{2} C_{2} O_{4}$ in acidic medium is slow. But slowly rate of reaction starts increasing because the product ${Mn}^{+ 2}$ formed catalyzes the reaction.
