Product B is 2–Butyne (Dimethyl-Acetylene or but-2-yne). On reaction with Grignard Alkynes give hydrocarbon and form alkynyl Grignard reagent with alkyne. The formed propynyl Grignard reagent reacts with methyl halide to form 2–Butyne.
