Faraday's Laws
Question

What current is to be passed for 0.25 s for deposition of a certain weight of metal which is equal to its electrochemical equivalent ?

Easy
Solution

From Faraday's laws:

w = \frac{{Eit}}{F}

Given that  w = Z ( e.c.e )

Z = \frac{{Eit}}{F}

but we know  Z x F = E

E = Eit \Rightarrow it = 1 \Rightarrow i = \frac{1}{t} = \frac{1}{{0.25}} = 4amp
