When H2S is passed in Ba(OH)2 solution:
Milkyness is produced due to formation of insoluble salt
No change is observed because H2S does not reaction with Ba(OH)2
Milkyness is produced due to the formation of BaSO3
No change is observed due to the formation of water soluble salt
H2S+Ba(OH)2→BaS+2H2O (Water soluble)
Once the salt is soluble, the resulting solution is clear and remains soluble.
