Solution

Cl₂ is weaker oxidising agent than F₂ and hence would not oxidise $F^{⊖} to F_{2}$ . Similarly I₂ is weaker oxidising agent than Br₂ and hence will not oxidise ${Br}^{⊖} to {Br}_{2}$ .
