$Wavelength of yellow light = 580 nm = 580 \times 10^{- 9} m c (velocity of light) = 3 .0 \times 10^{8} {ms}^{- 1} ∴ Frequency, (v) = \frac{c}{λ} = \frac{3 .0 \times 10^{8} {ms}^{- 1}}{580 \times 10^{- 9} m} = 5 .1724 \times 10^{14} s^{- 1}$
