$We know that 0 \leq {x} < 1 \forall x \in R$
$Now, when {x} = 0, \log {x} is not defined. So, x cannot be an$
$integer. Hence, the domain is R - I .$
$Now, for 0 < {x} < 1, - \infty < \log {x} < 0 . So, range is (- \infty, 0) .$
