Solution
Let f(x, y) =ax+by
Then, f (2x + 3y,2x-7y)=20x
= a( 2x+3y) + b(2x-7y) =20x
2a + 2b =20 and 3a -7b =0
a = 7 and b = 3
f(x ,y) = 7x + 3y
