If z=2−i2  is rotated through an angle 450  in the anti-clockwise direction a bout the origin, then the coordinates of its new position are:

z=2−i2 Here,   θ=tan−1(−22)=tan−1(−1)=-45°Now, rotate z  in opposite direction with 450  angle∴                θ=00∴                θ=tan−1(0)=tan−1(02)⇒     Hence     x=2  and y=0 .
