The quadratic equation whose roots are reciprocal of the roots of the equation $a x^{2} + b x + c = 0$ is obtained by replacing $x by 1 / x$ Thus, the required equation is $\frac{a}{x^{2}} + \frac{b}{x} + c = 0 or, c x^{2} + b x + a = 0$
