Solution

Put $α = 45^{0}$ then
${(\sin α + \cos e c α)}^{2} + {(\cos α + \sec α)}^{2} - \tan^{2} α - \cot^{2} α$

$= {(\frac{1}{\sqrt{2}} + \sqrt{2})}^{2} + {(\frac{1}{\sqrt{2}} + \sqrt{2})}^{2} - 1 - 1$

$= \frac{9}{2} + \frac{9}{2} - 2 = 7$
