Easy
Solution

Let A denote the set of Americans who like cheese and

let B denote the set of Americans who like apples.

Let Population of American be 100.

Then n(A)=63, n(B)=76

Now, n(AB)=n(A)+n(B)-n(AB)

=63+76-n(AB)

n(AB)+n(AB)=139

n(AB)=139-n(AB)

But n(AB)100

-n(AB)-100

139-n(AB)139-100=39

n(AB)39 i.e., 39n(AB)    ...(i)

Again, ABA, ABB

n(AB)n(A)=63 and n(AB)n(B)=76

n(AB)63    ...(ii)

Then, 39n(AB)6339x63.
