$γ_{app} = γ_{L} - γ_{S} and \frac{γ_{L}}{γ_{S}} = 10 So \frac{γ_{L}}{γ_{app}} = \frac{γ_{L}}{γ_{L} - γ_{S}} = \frac{10 γ_{S}}{10 γ_{S} - γ_{S}} = \frac{10}{9}$
