Solution

From the relation, $B_{V} = B sinϕ$
$B = \frac{B_{V}}{sinϕ} = \frac{6 x 10^{- 5}}{\sin 40 . 6^{o}} = \frac{6 x 10^{- 5}}{0.65} = 9.2 x 10^{- 5} T$
