Solution

if current through 2 $Ω$ resistor is i, then
$\begin{array}{l} i \times (\frac{3}{6 + 3}) = 1 \Rightarrow i = 3 A \\ ∴ V_{B} - V_{B} = i [2 + \frac{3 \times 6}{3 + 6}] volt = 3 (2 + 2) volt = 12 volt \end{array}$
