to catch the ball? If yes, what should be the angle of projection?

Person will catch the ball, if his velocity will be equal to horizontal component of velocity of the ball.
$\Rightarrow \frac{v_{0}}{2} = v_{0} \cos θ \Rightarrow \cos θ = \frac{1}{2} \Rightarrow θ = 60 °$
