A bar magnet made of steel has a magnetic moment of $5 A m^{2}$ and a mass of 40 gm. If the density of steel is $8 \times 10^{3} k g / m^{3}$ . The intensity of magnetization of the magnet is ___ $\times 10^{4} A / m$

The volume of the bar magnet is
$V = \frac{m a s s}{d e n s i t y} = \frac{40 \times 10^{- 3}}{8 \times 10^{3}} = 0.5 \times 10^{- 5} m^{3}$
The intensity of magnetization is $I = \frac{M}{V} = \frac{5}{0.5 \times 10^{- 5}} = 10 \times 10^{5} = 10^{6} A / m$
$∴ x \times 10^{4} = 10^{6}$
$x = 10^{2} = 100$ .
