Solution

$I_{E} = I_{C} + I_{B} = (0.002 + 0.0001) A$
$\Rightarrow I_{E} = 0.0021 A$
$∴ α = \frac{I_{c}}{I_{E}} = \frac{0.002}{0.0021} = 0.95$
