$v = | \vec{v} | \cdot \hat{r} = 10 \cdot \frac{(3 \hat{i} + 4 \hat{j})}{| 3 \hat{i} + 4 \hat{j} |} = \frac{10 (3 \hat{i} + 4 \hat{j})}{5} = 6 \hat{i} + 8 \hat{j}$
