Additional volume of liquid displaced
$= 3 \times 2 \times \frac{1}{100} m^{3} = \frac{3}{50} m^{3} Additional upthust = \frac{3}{50} \times 1000 kg weight = 60 kg weight This must be equal to the weight of m g of the man ∴ mg = 60 kg weight or m = 60 kg$
