Let V be the volume and d be the density of the body in water.
$V \times d = \frac{2}{3} V \times 1 or d = \frac{2}{3} In liquid, V \times d = \frac{1}{4} V \times d_{1} d_{1} = 4 d = \frac{4 \times 2}{3} ∴ d_{1} = (8 / 3) gm / c . c .$
