${\vec{V}}_{y} = 30 \hat{j} m / s \begin{aligned} {\vec{V}}_{x} = (\frac{10}{1}) \times 4 \hat{i} m / s = 40 \hat{i} m / s \\ ∴ V = \sqrt{V_{x}^{2} + V_{y}^{2}} = 50 m / s . \end{aligned}$
