A body is projected vertically upwards with a velocity of 40 m/s from a truck moving horizontally with velocity V. At the end of time of flight of the body the distance covered by the truck is 128 m. Find V

Time of flight, $T = \frac{2 u}{g}$
$∴ V T = S \Rightarrow V \times \frac{2 \times 40}{10} = 128 \Rightarrow V = 16 m / s$
