Detailed Solution
If the body is projected at some angle with respect to vertical and if the velocity of projection is much less than the escape velocity (Ve) so that the variation of accelaration due to gravity is extremely small, then the body will reach upto a certain height and then fall down following a parabolic path.If the body is projected horizontally with a velocity V=Ve2, it will orbit the earth in circular orbit.Since the gravitational force of attraction on the body always passes through the centre of earth, its moment about the centre of earth is always zero. Hence, angular momentum about the centre of earth remains conserved.
