Solution

$(30)^{2} = (20)^{2} + 2 a (2 s)$
Now ,
$\begin{array}{l} v^{2} = u^{2} + 2 as \Rightarrow v^{2} = (20)^{2} + 250 \Rightarrow v^{2} = 650 \\ ∴ v = 25 .5 {ms}^{- 1} \end{array}$
