Effective emf of the circuit
$E_{C} = (3 \times 5 - 5) volt = 10 volt ∴ i = current in the circuit = \frac{10}{4 \times 1} A = 2.5 A ∴ V_{A} - V_{B} = (5 + 1 \times 2.5) volt = 7.5 volt .$
