$γ_{Hg / g} = γ_{Hg} - 3 α_{g} and γ_{Hg / s} = γ_{Hg} - 3 α_{s} \Rightarrow α_{g} = α_{s} - \frac{γ_{Hg / g} - γ_{Hg / s}}{3} = 12 \times 10^{- 6} - \frac{(153 - 144) \times 10^{- 6}}{3} = 9 \times 10^{- 6} / {}^{o}C$
