Solution

The distribution of current in the cube is shown in fig. Let V be the potential difference between A and G.
Consider any path between, A and G say ABCG, we have
$V = 2 i \times r + i \times r + 2 i \times r = 5 ir$
Let -R be the equivalent resistance between A and G. Then
$V = (6 i) \times R$
or $5 ir = 6 iR or R = (5 / 6) r$
