Current through DAC = current through DBC = 1 amp.
$\begin{array}{l} V_{D} - V_{A} = 2 \times 1 = 2 volt \\ V_{D} - V_{B} = 3 \times 1 = 3 volt \\ ∴ V_{A} - V_{B} = (V_{D} - V_{B}) - (V_{D} - V_{A}) = 3 - 2 = 1 volt \end{array}$
