(Diagram) Figure shows the orientation of two vectors u and v in the XY plane If u→=ai^+bj^and  v→=pi^+qj^which of the following is correct ?

If we resolve u→ and v→ along x-axis and y-axis it is clear that x and y components of u→ are both directed along positive x-axis and positive y-axis respectively and hence 'a' and 'b' both are positive. Where as x and y components of v→ are both directed along positive x-axis and negative y-axis respectively. Hence 'p' is positive and 'q' is negative.
