Solution

Speed $= \frac{dx}{dt} = 2 \times 10^{- 2} \times π (- \sin πt)$
For maximum speed $\sin πt = 1$
$\Rightarrow πt = \frac{π}{2} \Rightarrow t = 0.5 s$
