Question

Displacement of a particle moving along straight line is given by x = $(4 t^{2} - 3 t + 8) m$ m where t is time in second. Then acceleration of the particle at t = 1 second is

Solution

v = $\frac{d x}{d t} = (8 t - 3) m / s$
$\Rightarrow a = \frac{d v}{d t} = 8 t m / s$
Therefore at t= 1 m/s , a =8 m/ $s^{2}$
