$\begin{array}{l} y = x - \frac{x^{2}}{10} . ....... (1) \\ y = xtanα - \frac{{gx}^{2}}{2 u^{2} \cos^{2} α} . ..... (2) \\ Comparing, tanα = 1 \Rightarrow α = 45^{0} \\ ∴ \frac{10}{2 u^{2} \times \cos^{2} 45^{0}} = \frac{1}{10} \\ \Rightarrow u = 10 m / s \end{array}$
