$y = 3 \cos π (100 t - x) = 3 \cos (100 πt - πx) Standard equation is y = acos (ωt \pm kx) where k = 2 π / λ Comparing, we have k = π ∴ λ = \frac{2 π}{k} = \frac{2 π}{π} = 2 cm$
