Solution

We convert the deltas ABE and CDF to stars.
Equivalent resistance $= \frac{2 R}{3} + \frac{5 R}{6} = \frac{9R}{6} = \frac{3 \times 2}{2} = 3$
$I = \frac{V}{1 .5 R} = \frac{3}{1 .5 \times 2} = 1 A$
