Solution

In steady state current through battery = $\frac{12}{3 + 6 + 1} = 1.2 A$
So, $V_{A} - V_{C} = \frac{9 x 1.2}{2} = 5.4 V$
and $V_{A} - V_{D} = 3 x 1.2 = 3.6 V$
Therefore, $V_{C} - V_{D} = - 1.8 V$
