Rate of flow = Av = same everywhere in pipe
$\Rightarrow v = \frac{970 \times 10^{- 3} m^{3}}{60 s} \times \frac{1}{π {(3.2 \times 10^{- 2})}^{2}} \Rightarrow v = 5 m / s .$
