∑ Fx = sum of x-component of forces             = 2+3 cos 300+5 cos600-2 sin 300                = 2+32+52-1 = 5 N∑ Fy = sum of y-component of forces             =  3 sin 300+5 sin 600 + 3+2 cos 300            = 32+532+3+3 = 53 N∴ F = (∑ Fx)2+(∑ Fy)2    =  52+(53)2         = 100   =  10 N∴ tanθ = ∑ Fy∑Fx    =  535 = 3    ⇒θ = 600
