Solution

For the eye piece, $\frac{1}{(- 25)} - \frac{1}{(- u_{c})} = \frac{1}{+ 5} \Rightarrow u_{c} = 4.17 c m$
$∴$ Separation between objective and eyepiece $= V_{0} + u_{c} = (50 + 4.17) c m = 54.17 c m$
