In the given circuit each one of the diodes $D_{1}$ and $D_{2}$ has forward resistance of 40 ohm and infinite backward resistance. Each one of the ammeters $A_{1}$ , $A_{2}$ and $A_{3}$ has internal resistance 5 ohm. The readings of $A_{1}, A_{2}$ and $A_{3}$ are respectively

Solution

diode ${D_{2}}_{}$ is in reverse biased so $A_{2}$ reading is zero, total resistance of the circuit is 100 +50+ 40 +2 x 5 = 200 ohm current for both $A_{1} a n d A_{3} w i l l b e s a m e$ and is equal to $\frac{12}{200} = 0.06 A$
