${V_{R}}^{2} + {V_{L}}^{2} = 120^{2} V_{L} = \sqrt{120^{2} - 54^{2}} = 107 V ∵ V_{R} i = P Now i 2 πfL = V_{L} \Rightarrow \frac{16}{54} x 2 x π x 60 L = 107 (i = \frac{16}{54} A) \Rightarrow L = 0.96 H \approx 1 H$
