Let R be the resistance of voltmeter as shown in fig

The resultant ,resistance of the circuit
Rresultant =R×100R+100+50=R×100+50×(R+100)(R+100)=150R+5000R+100
The current flowing ir.t the circuit
i=10V[(150R+5000) (R+100)]
The voltage across AB, i.e., V' is given by V=i×RAB
=10[(150R+5000)/(R+100)]×R×100R+1005=10150R+5000×(R×100)
Solving, we get R = 100 Ω
