Solution

According to Archimedes' principle
$390 g + 250 ρ_{w} g = {Vρ}_{w} g V = 640 {cm}^{3}$
Volume of glass $= 640 - 500 = 140 {cm}^{3}$
$∴$ Density of material of flask a $= \frac{390}{140} = 2.8 g / cc$
