A glass sphere of radius R=10cm is kept inside water. A point object O is placed at 20cm from A as shown in figure then the position of the image formed due to refraction at the first surface is at $p$ cm from A. The magnitude of $p$ is……… Given $μ_{g} = \frac{3}{2}$ and $μ_{ω} = \frac{4}{3}$

According to law of refraction
$\frac{μ_{2}}{v} - \frac{μ_{1}}{u} = \frac{μ_{2} - μ_{1}}{R}$
$u = - 20 c m v = ?$
$μ_{1} = 4 / 3 μ_{2} = 3 / 2$
$\frac{3 / 2}{v} - \frac{4 / 3}{(- 20)} = \frac{3 / 2 - 4 / 3}{10}$
$\Rightarrow v = - 30 c m$
