Solution

From the graph it is clear that to produce a give elongation, more force is to be applied to the wire at temperature T₂. Since within elastic limit $\large F=\frac {AY}{L}.x$
$\large Y_{T_2}>Y_{T_1}$ we also know that with rise in temperature 'Y' decreases. Hence T₁ > T₂and option (1) is right.
