Solution

Heat supplied to the gas $Q = n C Δ T$ for poly tropic process molar heat capacity is given by
$\begin{array}{l} C = \frac{R}{(γ - 1)} + \frac{R}{(1 - N)} \\ = \frac{R}{(\frac{5}{3} - 1)} + \frac{R}{(1 - N)} = \frac{3}{2} R + \frac{R}{(1 - N)} \\ Q = n [\frac{3 R}{2} + \frac{R}{(1 - N)}] [2 T_{0} - T_{0}] \\ = (1) R T_{0} [\frac{5 - 3 N}{2 (1 - N)}] = 2 R T_{0} (g i v e n) \\ 5 - 3 N = 4 (1 - N) \end{array}$

Hence equation of process, $P V^{- 1} = c o n s \tan t$
